Shiverpeaks Chest Running
I was interested in running these Chests, going for the Treasure Hunter titles. I was wondering what builds are being used currently?
I have tried doing so in Witman's Folly using the W/Mo Bold Forge Runner build on wiki.wm
Also, does anybody have maps which show Chest locations or can they train me?
Thanks

Just generally run outside in the snow till you find a chest. Shiverpeaks are quite easy imo.
All you really need is sprint .... then a couple of safety skills. The Bold Forge runner build should be fine.
And chest spawns are random.

I've also been running here for title. You only need a couple of skills here. Something for speed, some anti-knockdown and possibly something for healing.
There are always 3 chests there and since the run takes about 3min this is great if you are going just for title (as drops are crap).
If you still need help you can PM me and I'll show you the run.

Witman's Folly only drops purple +5 armour staff most of the time, their drops sucks.

If I ever run Shiverpeaks, I run as [wiki]Build:Mo/R Shiverpeaks Runner[/wiki] in [wiki]Ice Floe[/wiki] or in [wiki]Tasca's Demise[/wiki]/[wiki]Mineral Springs[/wiki] with [wiki]Defend Droknar's Forge[/wiki] on.
EDIT: If you want to go for the title on your warrior, go W/A:
Strength-12+1+w/e
Shadow Arts-12
[skill]Shadow Form[/skill][skill]Death's Charge[/skill][skill]Dark Escape[/skill][skill]Enraging Charge[/skill][skill]Endure Pain[/skill][skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill][skill]Feigned Neutrality[/skill][skill]Signet of Stamina[/skill]

I never said the run is good. The drops are really bad here, but the point is that its probably the fastest run in terms of chest/hour.

I remember a D/A running through the Shiverpeaks went very well, using Vow of Silence as the elite. I dunno how a W/D would work out, but you might try it. And incidently, I hear the best drops from chests in the Shiverpeaks are in Mineral Springs, though if you are mainly concerned with the title, that won't matter much.

Sorry about the double post.
@ olly123: I think they do it with the quest on because there are Titans rather than the usual enemies spawned, which means there are fewer enemies overall.

No, they do it because the drops from chests are affected by the surrounding mob and Titans are likely to drop Magmas and other rare stuff.

Oh, I get it. So chest drops get better as the mobs surrounding them get higher in level? Its been awhile since I have done that quests . . . do the usual mobs disappear in favor of the Titans? Do you think HM will have better drops overall in all areas? Lvl 20+ Charr in Ascalon . . . better chest drops? I know chests will work differently in HM, but whatever.

Locked chests drop what the enemies surrounding them can drop.

Witmans folly is not all total crap. I got a Sup Vigor and a Sup Absorbtion (too, bad is not the old days on this one) on Saturday while killing some time. I've also seen a gold Fellblade drop from a chest there too, alas not for me though.
The shdaows are trouble there but other than that its an easy run.

Whitmans runs are generally profitable for me, i tend to find 3:1 ratio of purps to golds there. Ive had a few sup vigs and absortions, and one or two fellblades(nothing worth noting). You do get good drops there every so often.
And its a rediculosly easy run, jus bring balanced stance, signet of stamina and endure pain, with sprint and charge, never fails. Though holy veil can be handy for the mind freeze boss.

Priceykins is right, witmans has a decent drop rate (at least for me). I used to farm there all of the time to make some easy money, and I also found my now customized req 8 15%^50 Felly. Even came with a 20/20 on it .
I also enjoy going to Thunderhead Keep. The Mursaat are a little more tricky, and if you get caught by a mob of ice imps it really slows the run down. Good Mursaat drops there. Sold a req 8 15%^50 Mursaat bow that I found on a run with my buddy for 100k+75 ecto.
That was the old days though.... I find that the drop rates are crappy if you chest farm too much. I like to do a quest, a mish and farm with a group for a while and it seems to reset the drop rate a bit.
